The founding partners of Booth Cooper Mason & Associates have over 45 years’ experience in the recovery industry, both in the public and private sectors. We take our professional services very seriously, working inline with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 and the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2013. Furthermore, we also follow the Practice Direction of Pre-Action Conduct and Protocols contained within the Civil Procedures Rules.
Tom Booth – Senior Partner
Tom started his career as a private bailiff and debt collector where he would often be found conducting pre-enforcement utility inspections and recovering overdue lease vehicles. He then pursued a career in the Department of Constitutional Affairs, Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service and the Ministry of Justice where he was a Senior Enforcement Officer enforcing warrants and orders issued by the Magistrate’s Courts and the Probation Service before resigning to pursue his own business interests with the experience he gained in the public sector.
Dave Mason – Senior Partner
Dave began his career as a police officer in the West Midlands Police Force where he supported bailiffs in a policing role. This gave him a working knowledge and insight into the enforcement & recovery industries and he decided to pursue a career as a bailiff instead of a police officer. Operating mainly in London he was quickly recognised by his peers as a natural leader he was promoted to various roles including regional manager before establishing his own enforcement business. Currently Dave is the President of the Certificated Enforcement Agents Association.
